    The United for Health PAC is a bipartisan entity supported entirely by voluntary contributions from eligible employees. Employee contributions are pooled to support candidates for both federal and state office (where applicable and legal to do so).

    The United for Health PAC is a key component of UnitedHealth Group’s overall Government Affairs strategy. Voluntary employee contributions are one way to ensure that UnitedHealth Group’s voice is heard in the policymaking arena by supporting candidates and elected officials who champion policies that increase affordability and access to quality health care and who work to simplify the health care system. The United for Health PAC gives our employees a collective and powerful voice in the political process.

  • 4. Who is eligible to join the PAC?

    • All employees who are grade level 29 and above are eligible to participate.
    • Maximum personal contribution allowed is $5,000 per calendar year.
    • Contributions to the United for Health PAC are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.
    • Contributions are completely voluntary and UnitedHealth Group Incorporated will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount of his or her contribution or decision not to contribute at all.
